These two, along with Gary Owen's excellent "South Beach" line page (click on the above link) are wonderful reminders to a lost part of Staten Island. Since my return to living on Staten Island, I've found a deeper love and respect for the richness of my home borough's history that I never knew I had. Now we try to frequent as many local eateries, music stores and other businesses as possible--to maintain the sense of community here.
